What the CSO does.
The Chief Sampling Officer holds the most important post on the trailer: making sure nothing leaves the window that he wouldn't eat himself. It is a serious responsibility, taken seriously, usually with a spoon still in hand.
- 1Tastes every new ice cream flavor before it reaches the public. No flavor is approved until the CSO signs off.
- 2Holds final authority on sprinkle ratios, scoop size, and whether the cone is filled all the way to the bottom.
- 3Advises the Founder on which flavors kids will actually want, a market the rest of the team cannot survey as accurately.
- 4Conducts surprise inspections of the freezer to confirm everything is, in his professional judgment, cold enough.
- 5Reports all findings directly to the Founder, who is also his dad, which makes the reporting structure very efficient.
Chief Sampling Officer is an honorary title, held with great pride by the youngest member of the Twin City Silver Bullet crew.
